Sydney, Australia

Unfortunately, I was only able to spend 7 short days in Sydney. It was time well spent with two of my very good friends, playing golf, and exploring a young and vibrant city. It is an amazing place with beautiful beaches, electric nightlife, and one of the most iconic landmarks in the entire world. That will definitely not be my last time visiting Sydney, Australia.

Queenstown, New Zealand

Whatever trip you are planning right now, re-route it to Queenstown, NZ! I cannot fit in this short paragraph how amazing it truly... It is the most adventurous, outdoorsy, thrilling and beautiful place I have ever been to in my life. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush with a jaw-dropping backdrop, look no further. I can confidently say the week I spent in Queenstown is, and forever will be, one of the best weeks of my life!

Scotland

What could be better than going to Europe with the entire senior class within your major? You are correct, nothing... 30 students, 7 rounds of golf and one heck of a time. This was my first time ever being abroad and it made me appreciate how much there is to see out there. Shortly after returning home is when I made the decision to apply for a job in New Zealand. My trip to Scotland was the first of many, thank you Penn State.

New Zealand

In October of 2014 I traveled to Hawkes Bay, New Zealand for a work holiday. It was one of the most amazing trips I will ever have the opportunity to go on. Traveling half way across the world with seven of my closest friends, hopping around on two remote islands filled with adventure. We played infinite rounds of golf, explored the north and south islands from top to bottom and even made a few bucks in the mean time. It was a serious culture shock and an eye opening experience for all of us, one that we will never forget.

Travel

From March 2013 to March of 2015 I was able to travel on three different continents, and one not so continental island, New Zealand. Driving up and down the east coast of the US, traveling to Scotland, and spending 24 straight hours making a journey half away across planet earth... I encourage everyone to take the time to see different parts of the world and meet new people along the way. It is incredible how ones perspective can change over time, do not be afraid of that change - It makes you who you are. Perception is reality, and the world around us is real.
