The Country Club, established in 1882, is a 27 hole facility located just southeast of Boston. Designed by the Campbell brothers, it is the oldest country club in the United States; hosting the 1913, 1963, and 1988 US Open’s, the 1999 Ryder Cup and over 5 USGA events. The club’s 1,200 members, 600 of those golfers, play approximately 25,000 rounds per year.

National Golf Links of America Southampton, NY
Golf Operations – May-November 2013
National Golf Links of America, founded and designed by Charles Blair Macdonald, was established in 1909. Having hosted the inaugural Walker Cup match in 1922, the club has earned its place in history. The 18 hole links style course, once again hosting the 2013 Walker Cup, was called “my pride and joy” according to C.B. Macdonald himself.

Essex County Country Club is an 18 hole private facility located in Northeastern New Jersey. The course is originally an A.W Tillinghast design, opened in 1887; New Jersey’s oldest private country club. The now 7,100 yard championship course has hosted multiple New Jersey State Amateurs and Opens. It has over 250 playing members, with roughly 22,000 rounds played annually.

2013 Walker Cup Match
